My dad was doing some work for Burnham Elementary today, and I sat in on a few classes and learned quite a bit. Everything from getting the kids interested in what you want them to learn, to squashing a problem before it even has a chance to start. It was a really cool experience. The kids were great but the movie we watched was horrible!! I saw The Cat in the Hat for the first time and was very dissapointed. The cat almost swore about 3 or 4 times. It went fom being a "g" rated book for 5 and 6 yr olds to being a PG-13 rated movie. I think the rating was actually PG but o well. It was also NOTHING like the movie. Well, my day wasn't extreamly extrodinary, but here's how it went. My aunt, uncle, and little cousin came in from Indy, and hung out w/us for a little while. It was nice seeing them because we don't get to see many people from my dad's side all that often. Then two of my friends and I went and saw X-Men 2. It was AWESOME!!! Alright, I made a deal w/my mom that I have to blog on a regular basis so here it is. WE played our first game on Saturday, and we won 4-3. Not THAT big of a gap, but hey, we still won. Si, Heather, Leigh, and I all went to see Dreamcatcher yesterday evening. I have always been a BIG fan of horror flicks, but this one was out there. There were ugly and nasty worms eating people, a nasty fungus growing everywhere and a few strange plot twists. THe worms I was ok w/until they where made to grow in a dog. Nuff said I think.
